Chill and Coldstores

Chill and Coldstores can be installed to any size and temperature requirement.

Chill and Coldstore materials

Utilising standard composite insulation panels, the core material is normally polystyrene or polyurethane where a non-fire rated store is acceptable or polyisocyanurate (PIR) where a fire retardant material is required. A fire rating of up to 1hr can currently be achieved with a PIR core.

Greater fire ratings can be achieved with mineral fibre but it is not currently considered good practise to use mineral fibre for coldstorage or negative temperatures.
